The Programme ACS-02I
“Astronomy for Intermediate”
ACS - 02I (Module-II) the next step has been designed keeping in mind to further stimulate the spirit of enquiry in the young minds which have already been opened to futuristic ideas. The activities shall further train them with basic space sciences skills, teach advanced scientific methods and extend their horizon beyond normal comprehension. We have seen wonderful minds in action during our interaction with students in school and strongly believe that a further stimulus will shine them like a star.
The Programme ACS-02I consists of 14 sessions which will be covered in 09 days in the period of 12 months.
The fee includes Club Tuition fees, Astro – Kit cost for each member student and other support material for the school / club; Entrance Fee; Equipment Rental like LCD Projector & Laptop Computer (for Night Observations camp); Lodging & Boarding, transport & Food (For Night Observations camp).

NOTE:
1. A white board with a marker will be required for all the sessions to be conducted from he school itself
2. Incase the school cannot provide with the LCD then they can hire or we can hire for school
3. The computer where ever to be used should have Windows XP (required for using pen drive). MS Power Point, USB port for pen drive, CD Drive, Speakers are also required in some sessions as mentioned in the above table. The computer and LCD setup should preferably be in a Auditorium or Semi Dark AV room.
4. Many sessions are governed by positions of objects in the sky and are also dependent on the weather. Necessary Precaution are taken to make the sessions successful. However, weather may act as a spoilsport even at the eleventh hour. No refund will be paid in such a case. |
