Space Explorers Workshops offer hands-on learning opportunities in the field of Astronomy and Space Sciences for schools. The participants are called ‘Space Explorers’ as they are encouraged to ask questions, instigate curiosity and explore the Universe.

The ‘Learning by doing’ methodology allows participants to experiment with trial and error, learn from their mistakes and understand the potential gaps between theory and practice.

The workshop aims to make students aware about astronomy, its presence and its relevance in our day-to-day life. The workshops are activities based on the following categories:

  • Observational Astronomy
  • Activities and Models Making
  • Interaction and Multimedia

Explorer’s workshops are conducted for all age groups from anyone from child to adult.


SPACE Explorers Workshops are conducted at schools, colleges, educational institutions, resident welfare associations etc., for people from all walks of life. The idea is to encourage the learning of Astronomy, and spread awareness about astronomy among the common people.

Space Explorers Workshops create a platform to learn Science, Astronomy, Geography, Physics, History and other subjects through experimentation, practical application and fun activities.

Apart from workshops, school students enrolled for the program gets the chances to enhance their skills and show their talent at various platforms in the events conducted by SPACE, through which they can showcase their talent at National as well as International platform.
